iScuba.ca was formed in an effort to grow the dive community. To give students, divers and instructors a place to meet, share their experiences and remain in contact with one another.
Like most of his colleagues, Brent was born at a very early age. He started diving at the ripe old age of 14 and since that day has caught "the bug". In 1992, Brent became a PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor and has since become a PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer able to teach numerous specialties. Recently, Brent and his beautiful wife Lesley have started leading dive trips to various exotic locations around the world with the next trip being to Fiji in March of 2009 (see the travel section for more information). Most of his diving has been off the West coast of B.C and off the coast of Florida with his favourite place to dive still being North Vancouver Island. Brent teaches mostly weekend courses throughout the year and heads out to Jasper a few times during the summer to do Open Water certifications. In his real life (to pay the bills), Brent is an information for NAIT in Edmonton. He hopes to someday live near the ocean...any ocean that does not freeze. A couple years ago Brent decided to start this website to help build the local dive community, to showcase the student and travel pictures and to promote the sport that he loves. He is developing a passion for underwater photography and gets quite excited when the pictures actually turn out. He does find it weird to speak about himself in the third person, but is getting used to it. Find me here on Facebook.
